Introducing the new Shopthru brand

Read time: 2 mins

New look. Same mission. A louder voice.

If you know us, and the Shopthru mission, you will know that we are on a mission to challenge an outdated industry and we wanted our brand to represent that.

We are proud to unveil the new Shopthru brand identity: bold and built to break the affiliate marketing mould.

This isn’t just a brand refresh. It’s a statement.

Why now?

Since launching Shopthru, we’ve proven what we always believed, that the affiliate model is unfair for publishers and content creators. We’ve piloted with publishers, we’ve tested with retailers, the product and tech is seamless, the data and results back it, and the response for joining us has been overwhelming.

But we didn’t feel that our existing brand reflected that energy. We needed an identity that marries up with our vision and amplifies the movement we’re building.

So we engaged with Mavens & Mavericks – a Marketing advisory who bring bold ambitions and big ideas to life for scaling companies. Engaging with their experts and designers, alongside our own inhouse team, resulted in creating something rather special together!

The visual system was built to express momentum and a frictionless experience. Think “point of inspiration to point of purchase” – without redirection – exactly what Shopthru is all about.

What changed?

Everything – and nothing.

At our core, Shopthru is still the platform that turns content into commerce and rewards the people driving the sale. But now we look, sound, and feel like a company ready to shake the foundations of affiliate marketing.

We’ve introduced:

  • A new logo and identity system that reflects clarity, energy, and forward momentum
  • A bold, modern colour palette with gradients that demand attention
  • A shape that represents cut through and connection – cutting through with our technology and solution and connecting our retail, publishing and content creators in our network.
  • A voice that speaks with confidence and urgency – because the problem is real, and we’re here to fix it

A design system that looks just as good in a pitch deck as it does on TikTok.

What was the thinking?

Affiliate marketing is full of noise and our brand had to cut through that.

We centred the new identity on empowerment – giving publishers and content creators a platform that finally recognises their influence and pays them fairly.

The visual system was built to express momentum and a frictionless experience. Think “point of inspiration to point of purchase” – without redirection – exactly what Shopthru is all about.

Did we change the logo?

We debated it but in the end, we kept the core symbol and refined the wordmark – modernised, simple, strong, but elevated with our new gradient system. It builds on what we’ve already created, while projecting where we’re going next.

What was our favourite part of the process?

Easy. Watching the energy build.

We started with a mission and now we have a brand that matches it.

The moment the designer showed us the colour and style, we knew it was for us!

Will Agentic Commerce Kill Affiliate Marketing and Online Publishing?

Affiliate marketing and online publishing both rest on a simple idea: if your content influences a purchase, you get credit. A reader clicks a tracked link, buys the product, and a commission flows back. It’s not perfect, but it supports an enormous ecosystem of media companies, niche bloggers, and affiliates.

September's announcement from OpenAI, Shopify and Stripe was designed to make jaws drop. A neat demo of someone asking ChatGPT about a product, getting a recommendation, and completing the purchase without ever leaving the conversation. It was smooth and fast, even I was impressed.
